Who should be the favorites to win the Super Bowl LX?

We are less than 24 hours removed from the Super Bowl Lix, and some NFL fans have already moved to the 2025-26 season.

The Super Bowl LX should be held at Santa Clari in California on February 8, 2026, and there are already some teams that should be considered the favorites that will appear in that game. Philadelphia Eagles look ready to make another run in the Lombard trophy. Although they have suffered beating, the chiefs are always a threat to win the Super Bowl as long as Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid are together.

Since franchises are already looking at the Super Bowl LX, let’s find that four teams are most likely to appear in the big game next year.

Philadelphia Eagles

Eagles have a legitimate shot in winning the title back.

Jalen Hurts is under contract at least three years, while Saquoon has another season before Philly has been potentially going on after 2026. Then again, if he continues to set up numbers as he did this season, I expect it to sign and soon extend the contract with the eagles. In the meantime, four of their five offensive ships are at least another year contractual, which means that the Eagles will launch it back in 2025 with the best offensive line in the NFL.

They will have to make some business decisions on the defensive side of the ball. I expect Linebacker Zack Baun to sign a sublime extension of the contract of this off -season after leading Philly in battle during the regular season and the playoffs. Josh Sweat and Milton Williams defense ships also earned renewed contracts with the way they played in Super Bowl.

Philly will need to replace some backups/meaningful associates on both sides of the ball. An offensive midfielder Makhi Becton, a defense end of Brandon Graham, who runs Kenneth Gainwell and Linebacker Oren Burks, all had to become free agents in this off -season. Still, I am convinced that eagles will find solid substitutes for all these guys.

With most of Philly’s key pieces and coaches staying with a team in the next few years, they should fight for Super Bowl in 2025-26.

Kansas City Chiefs

Just because the chiefs lost super bowl lix, that doesn’t mean they’re not right to fight for Super Bowl LX. In fact, I would claim that the 2025-26 bosses will be a greater threat to win the Super Bowl of 2024-25 bosses, as it will be motivated for people to forget about the blowing they suffered last night.

Patrick Mahomes is still a contract with the chiefs for at least the next three years. In the meantime, Chief Coach Andy Reid has signed an extension in the off-season that will keep him in KC by 2029, unless he decides to withdraw before that. With these two still charges, the chiefs are a threat that Super Bowl will make every year, just as Tom Brady and Bill Belichick were for New England Patriots.

At the same time, the All-Pro defensive midfielder Chris Jones should play at least two seasons for KC, so the best defensive player of the bosses will return next season. In addition, Travis Kelce is likely to return to Tim 2025-26, so these are two massively important associates who returned Kansas City next year.

The bosses will have to be active in a free agency and draft. The six of their most productive wide receivers and racing should be free agents of this off -season. They will also have to figure out if they want to return the offensive midfielder Trey Smith and Nicko Bolton striker.

If I can safely install my groups in skills, sign Bolton and make some upgrades along the offensive line, there is no reason that KC cannot reach the fourth flat Super Bowl in 2026.

Detroitic lions

Although I am a fan of Green Bay Packers, I will be the first to admit that I thought Detroit lions would escape with the NFC. Despite all their injuries, they still managed to record the most wins in one season in the franchise history with 15. Unfortunately, injuries and bad preparations of offensive and defensive coordinators in Detroit were caught in the Divisional Circle of NFL 2025 NFL. If guys like Aidan Hutchinson and Aim McNeil played against the Washington Cammanders, that game may have gone differently.

The lions have lost two best coordinators in the NFL, but many of the other key pieces from 2024 to 25 will continue to be there next season. Chief Coach Dan Campbell, striker Jared Goff, running Jahmyr Gibbs, offensive midfielder Penei Sewell and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown will return to Detroit next year. He will also receive several defense associates, including the line striker Jack Campbell, the return striker of Amik Robertson, the safety Kerby Joseph and midfielder Alex Anzalone.

Aidan Hutchinson will play a big role in the success of the lions next year. If he can perform the following year the way he played before he broke his leg, then he could potentially win a prize for the defensive player of the year. This type of contribution would be invaluable for the team that only handed over 45 points in the playoffs.

There will be some substitutes in the whole list. With Carlton Davis III, Kindle Vildor, Ifeat Melifonwu, Khalil Dorsey and Emmanuel Mosley have become free agents, the lions will either need to reset some of these guys or replace them by drafts and free agencies. They will also have to add the depth of offensive lines with Kevin Zeitler and Dan Skipre who were to test the free agent market.

More importantly, Detroit must compensate for the production they lost to the defense coordinator and the offensive coordinator. If former Denver Broncos coordinator passes John Morton and former Linebackers coach at Detroit Kelvin Sheppard can be held as players, then the lions will be in the main position to compete for the Super Bowl 2026.

Bills Buffalo

Buffalo accounts are there in the crowd hunting for super bowl with the Kansas city bosses, but have not yet managed to get over the coat of arms. However, they should be considered one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl LX.

Change Josh Allen has just had the best year in his career with only three Pro bowlers on the list (two of which were offensive ships). He is now on the Major General of Brandon Beane to surround Allen Talent. James Cook is the second best offensive weapons that the accounts have, but after it, there is a big fall in skills positions. It does not help for Buffal’s receiver number two, Mack Hollins, should be a free agent of this off -season. The number of Ty Johnson runs will also be a free agent. Also, Amari Cooper, a widely traded in the middle of the season, is likely to test the free agency this spring. There is a chance that Buffalo will lose three important offensive associates of this off -season, something I can’t afford.

Although they need to spend a lot at a free agency and wisely use their draft capital to provide Joshu Allen with more weapons, the accounts must improve in defense. After having two defensive pro-bowling in 2023, Buffalo had only one defender called All-Pro or Pro Bowler (Corner Taron Johnson was named second-league All-PRO last year) in the last two seasons). This is not good enough for a team that is currently trying to win the Super Bowl.

Buffalo has to make several sprayed moves this off season. Making a Cleveland’s Myles Garrett or Las Vegas Maxx Crosby would be a kind of decision that could change the complexion of this team and AFC whole. It could also not hurt to sign a true number one receiver as Cincinatti’s Tee Higgins or New York Davante Adams.

Buffalo should compete for Super Bowl next season if they do none of the above moves. However, they would be considered a much more serious threat to raise the Lombard trophy if they can bring the other or two stars.
