Desert Rides – Bionicoldguy

“I’ve had a great time riding in the desert for the past few days. I picked up the rent on Tuesday and did some local rides. On Wednesday, I rode the desert trails south of my brother’s house. The trails were relatively flat, so I didn’t have to Worry about jumping over the rocks or washing as I’m not a good mountain biker.

Later that day, we went to Flagstaff to see the Lowell Observatory. It was a very interesting trip. Interestingly, the landscape changes are interesting as we go from relatively dry deserts to the ultimate pine forest. The Observatory is located on the top of the mountain and has a beautiful scenery, which is a very interesting visit. They have a nice museum and some nice tours.

On Thursday, I discovered the Phoenix Canal Trail, especially the southern branch of the Highline Trail, and rode for a few miles, which was fun. Then, I found the desert trails of Pima Canyon in a mountain park in 20000 (about 4200 hectares). These trails are flat enough for me and I love riding those. I ended up some local rides. This is a beautiful area to visit in winter. ”
