Is Ryan Garcia the real deal?

RYAN GARCIA and Luke Campbell kicked off 2021 with a brilliant fight.

I was saddened by the outcome as Luke is a friend of mine and a former Olympic teammate as well as a great guy.

Even though Ryan Garcia did a superb job and dominated most of the fight, is he the real deal?

He has 8 million followers on Instagram, is friends with celebrities, always in public. There is so much hype surrounding this guy. But can Garcia truly fight? Does he have the right attitude to go all the way?

Was he going up against guys at the top level who would push him? Is he World Cup material?

Well, he just fought a world-class fighter in Luke Campbell, and he went down hard in the second round. Does that mean it’s not world class? Or does that make him a greater champion because of the way he came back and finished the fight?
