The White House clarified on Tuesday that all illegal immigrants arrested by the Federal Immigration Authorities in recent days “are criminals” with regard to the Trump administration.
White House Press secretary Karoline Leavitt asked questions during his first press session since President Donald Trump returned to White House last week when he was asked about mass arrests.
“The 3,500 arrests that ICE (North -American customs and the application of immigration) has done so far since President Trump returned to office. You can say the numbers? How many have a criminal record against those who are found to the country illegally. ” A journalist asked.

“All of them, because they illegally broke the laws of our nation and, therefore, are criminals regarding this administration,” Leavitt responded. “I know the last administration did not see it. So it is a great change of culture to our nation to see someone who breaks our laws on immigration as a criminal, but this is exactly what they are.”
The journalist asked if they all have it criminal record.
“If they broke the laws of our nation, yes, they are a criminal,” Leavitt said.
