Trump’s Secretary of Transportation, the Senate’s final voting candidate

Sean Duffy, the President’s selection to lead the Department of Transport, has advanced to the final round of the Senate confirmation process, which will decide whether to assume a first position of the cabinet A President Donald Trump Administration.

Duffy was used by Trump to lead the transport agency over the next four years, submitting to a confirmation audience with the Senate, Science and Transportation Commerce Committee, which advanced his candidacy with bipartisan support.

The Senate on Monday held a Vote de la Cloatura for Duffy, which it unanimously approved.

The final vote of the Senate on whether it is confirmed in Duffy, a former Republican congressman, is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
