We test every iPhone in real-world scenarios looking at its features, design, performance, cameras, battery life and overall price. We post our findings in early reviews that are updated regularly when there are new iOS updates or comparisons with new phones from competitors such as Samsung, Google and OnePlus.

Battery testing is done in a variety of ways. We evaluate how long the iPhone lasts during a day of use, and see how it performs during video calls, streaming movies and games. We also try to test videos, which are not always included in the initial review and added later.
Performance measurement
We use benchmarking software to measure performance, as well as our own experience using the phone for review. Most notable is the way photos and videos look. Are they smooth? Or is he slow or stuttering? We also take a look at how quickly the phone switches between landscape and portrait mode and how the camera app opens and prepares to take a photo.

We handle heavy tasks like editing photos and videos, exporting videos and playing games. We check whether the latest iPhone model has enough features to be worth upgrading from older models. Some of these tests are added later in revisions after the first edition.
