Kristi Noem eliminates procedural obstacle on the way to National Security Confirmation

“I was the first governor to send National Guard troops in Texas when they were overwhelmed by an unprecedented border crisis,” Noem told the Committee during his confirmation audience last week.

“If I confirm myself as secretary, I will make sure that our exceptional and extraordinary agents of the border patrol have all the tools and resources and the support they need to carry out their mission effectively.”
