Liverpool will be confident of continuing their run of Premier League titles when Ipswich visit Anfield for the first time in 23 years on Saturday.
Arne Slott’s side are unbeaten in 17 Premier League games and lead the way, while Ipswich start the weekend in the relegation zone.
A win or a point could be enough to take them ahead of Wolves and out of danger, with Slott saying their opponents are steadily improving.

He said: “I think it’s fair to say that Ipswich improved during the first half of the season. It’s also a compliment to Kieran McKenna, who really made it difficult for us the first game we played.
“They’ve become a good team that makes things difficult and the last game is an exception because maybe (Manchester) City is becoming City again.”
City thrashed Ipswich 6-0 last weekend and are yet to win in 2025.
Liverpool are without midfielder Curtis Jones, who picked up an injury during the midweek win against Lille in the Champions League. Striker Diogo Jota is also still out with a shoulder problem and Joe Gomez is a long-term absentee at the back.
Ipswich are without winger Chiedozie Ogbene and strikers Sammie Szmodics and Conor Chaplin. Kalvin Phillips is available again after being ruled out against parent club City last week.
