Hardik Pandya’s journey in 2024 has been a whirlwind but he has managed to turn setbacks into remarkable achievements and his brother Krunal Pandya couldn’t be prouder. Krunal recently spoke about Hardik’s resilience and how he turned setbacks into opportunities to prove that he is India’s best run-scorer.
The year 2024 got off to a rocky start for Hardik Pandya as he faced relentless criticism and boos from fans on and off the field while leading Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL 2024. The pressure was immense after the replacement of Rohit Sharma and Hardik failed to deliver as a captain or a fielder and his issues also played a big part in his struggles.
There were reports of Pandya’s separation from his ex-wife Nataša Stankovic during IPL 2024. However, they officially announced their separation in July last year. But they say champions are made in tough situations, and Hardik didn’t let negativity define him, as he used criticism and doubts about his abilities as fuel to return to India stronger.

Hardik’s composure under pressure and tournament-winning performance not only helped India lift the trophy but also won over the very fans who doubted him. The boos and jeers turned into thunderous cheers for him.
Now, reflecting on Hardik Pandya’s journey, Krunal Pandya said he is immensely proud of his younger brother. The Baroda captain said Hardik’s determination and hard work helped him rise above all setbacks. Krunal also hailed Hardik’s self-motivation and maturity.
Krunal Pandya further mentioned that Hardik is not only a key player of the Indian national cricket team but also an inspiration for young cricketers. Pandya said his brother proved that focus, self-belief and perseverance can help overcome any obstacle.
