Line-ups confirmed as Marquinhos returns but misses Doku

It’s crucial time for Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, with both sides fighting for the play-offs in the revamped Champions League.

PSG start the evening in 26th place, a point and two places behind City, who occupy the final spot which would see their European adventure continue for the next month.

It’s not a situation these two big-spending clubs – both aided by Middle Eastern money – would not have foreseen at the start of the campaign.

Paris Saint-Germain team news

The big news for the home side is the return of central defender and captain Marquinhos after a thigh injury.

The Brazilian, who missed the weekend win in Lens, comes in for Lucas Beraldo.

Two more changes were made with Achraf Hakimi and Joao Neves coming on for Lucas Hernandez and Warren Zaire-Emery.

PSG: Donnarumma, Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes, Ruiz, Neves, Vitinha, Lee, Doue, Barcola

Manchester City team news

Pep Guardiola made two changes to the team that won 6-0 at Ipswich on Sunday, one as Jeremy Doku was ruled out through injury.

Doku was excellent at Portman Road at the weekend but suffered a problem which meant he couldn’t make the trip to Paris. Savinho comes in for the Belgian winger.

On the other hand, Bernardo Silva is more desirable in midfield than Ilkay Gundogan.

Matheus Nunes continues at right back.

Manchester City: Ederson, Nunes, Akanji, Dias, Guardiol, Kovacic, De Bruyne (C), Bernardo, Savinho, Foden, Haaland
