EXCLUSIVE: President-elect Trump will order the deployment of US troops on Monday to the southern border, eliminate Biden-era parole policies and designate international cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, in a series of nearly a dozen executive orders designed to dramatically overhaul US immigration and border policy.
Fox News obtained exclusive details on three of the 11 executive orders Trump is expected to sign related to border security and immigration after his inauguration.
In one order, Trump will immediately direct the federal government to resume construction of the border wall, which was largely completed under the Biden administration. This order will also end Biden-era parole policies, including the use of the CBP One application for migrants on parole in the US, and parole processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans (CHNV), under which 30,000 nationals per month were there. authorized to fly and be admitted on parole. Nearly 1.5 million migrants have been allowed to enter under CHNV and CBP One.

The order will also direct government agencies to reinstate the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP)known as the policy of remaining in Mexico. That Trump-era policy, which ended under the Biden administration, forced migrants to stay in Mexico for the duration of their asylum hearings.
A second order will order US troops to be deployed to the border under US Northern Command and “instruct the military to prioritize our own borders and territorial integrity in the strategic planning of their operations.” He will direct the military to prioritize US territorial and border integrity in strategic planning.
The defense secretary will be required to provide a unified command plan and military resources will be integrated with federal law enforcement and intelligence “to ensure smooth operations and maximum effectiveness,” according to a fact sheet from the order

“This Executive Order sends a clear message that the United States intends to exercise its sovereignty over its land and its borders and that the Armed Forces have a role to play in protecting our borders,” he said. Fox News.
A third order will designate international cartels and organizations, including MS-13 and the bloodthirsty Tren de Aragua, as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) and Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGTs). An FTO designation allows for targeted actions against members, including financial penalties.
Declaring that the organizations function as quasi-governments in some regions and flood the United States with criminals and drugs, the order will declare the groups a threat to national security and invoke the International Emergency Economic Powers Act to stop its operations.
The orders will be three of 11 planned executive orders related to the border that Trump is expected to sign on Monday. He is expected to announce some during his inaugural address and others during signings at the White House.
It’s the clearest signal yet from the incoming administration that it fully intends to follow through on its core campaign promise to secure the southern border and launch a historic mass deportation campaign.

It comes after a years-long crisis on the southern border that began in 2021 and continued through 2024, slowing after increased action by Mexico and an executive order by June Biden that prevented migrants seek asylum.
