Ryder Cup: JJ Spaun will be Team USA ‘Heartbeat’, says Captain Keegan Bradley | Golf news

Keegan Bradley says that the newly married US Open champion JJ SPAUN will not only be on this year’s Ryder, but there will be the heartbeat of the Team USA.

Bradley’s side will seek to return the trophy against the team Europe after losing in Rome 2023

After Spaen’s breakthrough victory at the US Open at the Oakmont Country Club, Bradley praised the 33-year-old ascent and resistance, calling him perfectly suitable for the intensity of Bethpage Black and New York.

“I’m so thrilled to have won that tournament,” Bradley said. “He played so great this year.

“I think going to a course like Bethpage Black, people will really be behind a guy like JJ Spaun.”

Bradley emphasized Spaun’s journey as a key reason for his attraction, both to fans and teammates and sees him as a cultural stone foundation for the Team USA.

We stand out from the last round of the US Open from the Oakmont County Club, while JJ Spaun claimed a maiden main title with a stunning bird of 65 FT, at the last hole to achieve victory.

“His story is amazing,” he added. “He is a diligent guy who just builds and builds and builds his entire career.

“Win the US Open in Oakmont, in my eyes, the highlight of the main golf.”

Bradley continued: “I think the guy that people in Bethpage will really echo and the guy who is heartbeat in our team.

“Now he’s a champion in the US. It’s a heavy burden to handle, but it’s also a great thing on your team.”

JJ Spaun won the US Open in an exciting style with a stunning 65ft bird at the last hole in the Oakmont County Club.

Bradley also admitted how difficult it was for the first time to go to the Ryder Cup team, especially under the pressure of the main championships.

“I’m really proud to have it on this team because it’s really hard to make my first team,” he said. “To go there the way he did this this year and play in these major events, testifies to what a player he is.”
