Auriemma Geno votes Religion through Ucon’s depths of roster after Kayleigh Heckel, Transmission of Serah Williams


Auriemma Geno expressed relief over Uconn Huskyes Having a filled line that moves in the NCAA 2025-26 season. The legendary coach discussed the depth of the Huskies list after the transfer of Serah Williams and Kayleigh Heckel during a conversation with journalists to The Geno for the Children’s Charity Golf Tournament.

The journalist raised UCONNO’s complex composition during the media availability session, telling Auriemma that Huskii had 15 players with scholarships on their list for the first time in a while.

“When you have 15 players, no one ever gets hurt, knocks on wood,” Auriemma said. “When you have 10 or 11 players, six are always injured. So, I don’t know what to tell you. I just know that the circumstances have brought – we have a full list.

“We are allowed to maximize. Is that what will be next year, a year after that? No. I don’t think I can say that. It’s not feasible in today’s day and age. I think you have to get rid of that are 12 and let’s go with that. But this year we are at 15,” he added.

Ten players will return to Huskies this season, including BC Arnold, Jana El-Ol-Alli, Allie Ziebell, Ashlynn Shade, Sarah Strong, Morgan Cheli, Ice Brady, Caroline Ducharme, Ayanna Patterson and Azzi Fudd.

Huski also have a talented class 2025 with the incoming freshmen of Bianca Quinonez, Kelis Fisher and Gandy Malou-Mamel making the final list.

Williams led the Wisconsin badger in scoring and rejection last season, an average of 19.2 points and 9.8 panels. She also presented her defensive skill, average in the 2024-25 campaign in the 2024-25 campaign.
