WBO Champion Welter category Brian Norman Jr. He is not concerned about the threat of #2 ranked Jin Sasaki poses for him this Thursday, June 19, in their main head in the Ot-Ot-Tiah General Gymnasium in Tokyo in Japan.

Norman Jr. (27-0, 21 ko) studied “habits” of Sasaki (19-1-1, 17 ko) and says that in this struggle he cannot do anything that will surprise him. It’s not surprising that Norman Jr. So confident because Sasaki, 23, is more beginner than a real candidate.
The World Boxing Organization gave him the #2 ladder, but his entire resume is filled with lower level fighters. Sasaki should really be nowhere near the upper level or even 50. His resume is terrible.
Norman Jr. vs. Sasaki event will flow Lives on ESPN+ On Thursday, June 19, at 7:15 pm/4: 15:00 pt. It would be interesting to know what Norman’s promoters in Top Rank are considering his choice of Sasaki as his opponent.
I can’t be too happy about this fight, because it’s a vague fighter, and an event time means that many fans will not see him. It is a waste career waste as well as a top rank, because its popularity will not grow from this fight. This will not be seen. Sasaki would be a good opponent for one of the lower ranked candidates in 147, such as Karen Chukhadzhian.
I don’t think he would have a chance against Chukhadzhian, but it’s a kind of fighter he should face to try to earn his stripes.
Why fans ignore Norman-Sasaki
This is a kind of struggle that would be neglected even if it was shown on Saturday night in its regular time slot. Fans did not talk about this fight because IIT is not attractive. It is an inconsistency.
Top Rank must run Norman Jr. -And against significant fighters in the future so he can build his name/ defend again, and Sasaki is a bad look.
“I know Sasaki’s habits, techniques and everything he wants to do,” Norman said. “He can’t do anything to surprise me, besides growing a third hand. I expect it to fight more than ever before because of the size of this fight, but the end result will still be the same. I came with the belt and I leave with the belt.”
Sasaki’s last six opponents
– Shoki Sakai
– Qamin Ball
– Joe Noynay
– Hiroto Hoshi
– Keita comes up
– Ryota Toyoshima
Who among these fighters was good enough that WBO could give Sasaki rank #2? I want to know that. As far as I can say, those lower weights to 100 levels. It’s okay that Sasaki beat them, but how is it being transmitted to the high rating that gave him?
Norman Jr. It looks like his intention is to bring his WBO title as long as possible. That’s the wrong type of champion. If he will fight guys like Sasaki, one of the talented candidates of £ 140 must move up to 147 and dethronize it to Pronto.
