This father’s day was another special for Scottie Scheffler. He had to spend him competing for his fourth major career and the first title of US Open, even though he passed. He also needed to celebrate his father as a father for the second time.
Scheffler’s son, Bennett, was born in May 2024, and is the last time his father, a newborn baby. This time, his baby has more than a year old. He climbed on Instagram to celebrate the day.
Shared the inscription:
“I’m honored to be my dad and I’m grateful to the one who raised me!”
Scheffler’s touching change began with a photo of the reel with her son, a boy who made him a father. All these pictures were on golf course after various events, some wins, in which the world played no. 1.
Then the photos passed over in time to the pictures of a young Scheffler on a course he was learning and playing with his own father Scott. One of the paintings included the newborn Scheffler, and one included a father, son and granddaughter in one picture.
Scheffler was missing to win a heavy US Open. He struggled, like many, with paths and conditions. His result +4 would usually not be very good, but he was good enough to bind to the seventh and there were only six blows.
The Oakmont Golf Terrain demanded an almost perfect game last weekend for the US Open, and almost no one was immune to him. Even the winner of JJ Spaun sometimes fought strongly, even after he announced a historic circle without Bogey on Thursday (June 12th).
IN Pga tour The old one was in the race most of the time, but he could not completely get over the coat of arms, even while his field was constantly fell closer to him thanks to the conditions. Said via golf.com:
“My main giving up is that I fought like this week. I was mentally proud of how I was during four days. I did a lot of things there that could really break a week and never got that good break. Such a terk and so far hit, and seemingly, seemingly, I was, and I was punished for that.”
He admitted that he was costing him a few small mistakes and he was not surprised to have done on such an relentless course. Scheffler added:
“Just the little things of such things, where in the weeks you win, sometimes you need to have luck to win the tournaments. This week, the way I fought, I failed to give enough chance.”
Scottie Scheffler will continue to enter as a favorite for the British Open next month to conclude the main season.
