All of this happened on the second to the last ball of the first inserts when Fielders Dindigul Dragons turned a simple catch into a complete comedy show, and former Indian versatile Ravicharndran Ashwin was a surprisingly part of this drama on Saturday night.
Siechem Madurai Panthers’ adjusting Gurjapneet Singh eavesdropped by an extra lid and embarked on a fast single. And then things for Dindigula went hilariously wrong. Dindigul Skipper Ravicharndran their captain Ravicharndran Ashwin went to a direct shot, but missed stumps.

Then came the third throw from a short third man, and incredible, and the one who missed. For a moment it looked like the dough would even start four themselves. In total, Madurai Batters launched three driving on what was meant to be just a single, all thanks to three mistakes.

This error helped Siechem Madurai Panthers to reach 150/8 in their 20 accessories, but joy did not last long. The veterans’ champions, Dindigul Dragons, turned the game into a one -sided affair with a thunderous chase that left everything in amazement in Salem.
Opening for Dindigul, Ashwin led from the front with 49 out of 29 balls, while his team pursued a target in just 12.3 additions, sealing the dominant victory of 9 winches in the TNPL 2025 conflict against Panter on Saturday. Ashwin also connected a stand to open a 124 -run monster with shimam Singh, which was even more explosive.
Shimodam remained undefeated on a sensational 86 of 41 balls, entertaining a crowd with 8 four and 6 six. Ashwin also broke 6 boundaries and 3 six. Dragons prove why they are a team that will win this season. With big names like Ashwin, Varun Chakravarthy, Sandeep Warier and Baba Indrajith in their ranks, they look strong to defend the title.
Significantly, Ashwin has already withdrawn from the International Cricket, but is actively involved in the domestic crisis. However, off-pinner did not have a great IPL 2025 with Chennai Super Kings, but shows its class in the current TNPL 2025.
