Nathan Mackinnon Sends a Cale Message Message Makar to win 2025 Norris Trophy

Cale at least Won the James Norris 2025 Memorial Trophy and his teammate Nathan Mackinnon I couldn’t help but wouldn’t have fun. Star defender Colorado Avalanche beat the trophy a second time in her career.

In the video that shares AvalancheMackinnon congratulated Makara with a friendly message.

“Kaleni, congratulations to your Norris,” Mackinnon said in a video divided on Instagram. “I feel like you have 10. Obviously it’s just two, amazing. I think we’re all happy to play with you man. Obviously our life. Obviously, one of the best players in the league, the best D-man in the world. Congratulations and more, I’m sure.”

In the same video, teammate Devon Toews also congratulated Makara:

“Cale, congratulations on your second Norris trophy. I’m sure you would have 3 or 4 more, if I didn’t come up with you, but super proud of you.”

Star Denver Broncos Pat Sertain IIwho won the NFL defensive player of the year, he also congratulated Makara.

“What is happening on Cale. I want to give a big congratulations to a defense player of the year on another,” Sertain II said, in a video published on the X AVS. “Congratulations on another great award. Congratulations to man.”

At least he earned his second Norris Trophy after the 2024-25 season. He led all NHL defenders with 30 goals and 92 points. Even earlier he won the 2021-22 award. And he was a finalist for five seasons in a row.

Cale at least gets a trophy as a surprise of friends and family

With this victory in Norris Trophy, Cale Makar joins the legendary group of NHL’s defenders. He is only the sixth who won him twice in the first six Nhl seasons.

Only five others did this: Bobby Orr, Denis Potvin, Rod Langway, Paul Coffee and Erik Karlsson. In addition, now there are only 14 players who have won the prize several times.

At least he was surprised by the news of his victory while golf with friends and family. His parents surprised him with a trophy.

“My first thought was honest that one of the boys I played with won some golf trophy and it was a surprise,” he said at least by NHL.com about receiving surprises from his close ones.

With only 26, Cale at least continues to build a legacy as one of the best league plans.
