Littleler’s Littler plans to add the World Cup success with England to his growing list of achievements this weekend.
The 18-year-old will join Luke Humphory, who defeated Littler last month in the Premier League final in the O2 Arena.
Humphries led England to the record fifth success of the World Cup with Michael Smith last year, and the sixth crown is drawn in Frankfurt ahead of the tournament starting on Thursday.
“I didn’t talk to anyone about putting a shirt for your country, but I’m sure it’s one of the best feelings you’ve ever had. I’m sure I and Luka are ready for it,” Littleler thought.
If Littleler will enjoy the Darts Toumpha World Cup, they will have to improve its recent form in Germany.
The beginning of the hexagon can be shown by September when Littleler collapsed from the position of strength to lose to Peter Wright in the German finals of the Darts Championship.
Boos happened on this occasion, and Littler fought on the night of the nine Premier League in Berlin in early April, before he laged for the success of Grand Prix in Munich three weeks later, after which he led himself to social media to suggest that he would skip tournaments in Germany.
Shortly after Littleler explained that he had no intention of missing the World Cup.
World no. 2 added: “The only bad thing last year was Hildesheim against Peter Wright. I think I was 5-2, I lost 8-5 and obviously as soon as you beat home favorites, as everyone loves to call him, that is, when they don’t start to love.
“I wouldn’t say he upset me, but I would say I’m obviously a little angry. I wouldn’t say (during) the Premier League. The biggest Germany is, but I did what Gerwyn Price always does, go on Instagram, I’m a little clear and take it half an hour later.”
Enthusiasm for the World Cup with English – with the owners who set up a campaign in the second round on Saturday – will help Littler forget about his past tricky experiences in Germany and may change about whether the darts need to enter the Olympic Games.
“Yes, last year there was a lot of talk about the Olympics and I had no idea for myself,” Littleler admitted.
“Would it be good? Would it be bad? I’m not really an Olympia person, so I won’t sit there and watch him. I don’t know if that would be good or bad for a dart. I’m not sure if that will fit so much.”
One half of the German team, Martin Schindler, admitted that the favorite of the Tournament England was an incredible challenge, but insisted that they were returned, referring to the adaptation of Littler and Humphries to play as a team.
“It’s a pairs tournament; you’re not really ready to play at the highest level that we mostly play for ourselves and never as a team,” Schindler said.
“You have to get used to it, but I said that last year Io Humphries and Smith, and obviously beat him.
“Littler and Humphries are very strong, but they are not unsurpassed.”
The Northern Ireland team, who formed Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney, enter the tournament in the second round, along with three other ranked sides, England, Wales and Scotland.
Asked what the winning of the World Championship in Picade would mean northern Ireland, Rock told Sky Sports: “That would mean the absolute world for me and Daryl.
“Northern Ireland did not really conquer a lot, in nothing, so the abolition of that trophy would be fantastic.”
