Frank confirmed as a new Tottenham manager about a three -year agreement

Thomas Frank was appointed a new Tottenham manager in an agreement that runs until 2028, the club confirmed.

Spurs announced the news on Thursday due to the guess that Frank would inherit Ange Postecoglou, who was released for the last time this month, despite ending the 17-year-old waiter of Spurs to a large trophy by delivering the League of Europe.

Frank joins after spending seven years in Brentford, where he built an impressive reputation as one of the best main coaches of top flight after being a bee in promotion from the 2021 championship.

The 51-year-old Dane will take responsibility for Spurs after the club suffered the second worst record of the league in the club’s history.

They finished 17th, only one place above the relegation zone, losing 22 of their 38 games. They finished the league campaign of seven places and 18 points below Brentford.

However, Frank, who is now the fourth permanent manager of Tottenham in four years, will monitor Spurs’s return to the Champions League next term – the Europa League Reward Award.

“In Thomas, we name one of the most progressive and innovative major coaches in the game,” the Spurs statement said.

“He has a proven record in the development of players and detachments and we look forward to being guided by the team while preparing for the season ahead.”

In the meantime, Brentford welcomed Frank for the “incredible influence he had on the history of the club.”

Phil Giles, a bee director, said: “From the moment he replaced Dean Smith, he realized what we were trying to build, and his wisdom, coaching ability and emotional intelligence helped to transform the club.

“But this is not just what you see on the field. He has established a special relationship with our fans, helped in the development and improvement of players and was crucial in implementing a culture that saw that Brentford was going out of force.

“We will never forget Thomas, but now it’s time to thank him and take the following steps on our path with a new leader that we believe can be equally successful and influential.”
