Matheus Cunha is determined to help with Manchester United “to get back to the top” after completing the transition to Old Trafford.
The Brazilian International joined the United from Wolves for the 62.5 million pounds reported and wrote a five -year contract with an option for the sixth.
Cunha scored 33 goals in 92 appearances in two and a half seasons in Molineux and became United’s first summer signing, because they look to bounce from her worst end of the Premier League since the age of 16.

The striker said on the official website of the club: “It’s hard to make a word to become a Manchester United player. Ever since I have been a child in Brazil by watching the Premier League games on my grandmother’s home, United was my favorite English team and I dreamed of wearing a red shirt. I want to thank my family and anyone who helped me make that dream.
“I can’t wait for the start of the preseason to meet my teammates and prepare for the season ahead. All my focus is now on hard work to become a valuable part of the team and help back this club to the top.”
United football director Jason Wilcox was pleased to have inserted former RB Leipzig, Hertha Berlin and Atletico Madrid Man, especially with so much time for him before the new season.
Wilcox said: “Bringing in Matheus was one of our main priorities for this summer, so we are delighted to have completed his signing so early in the window.
“He has proven his ability to succeed in the Premier League as one of the most exciting and most exciting strikers in England during his stay in Wolves, and before, in Spain and Germany. He has all the qualities we seek because we seek to build a strong, dynamic and entertaining team that is capable of challenging the biggest honors.
Cunha is the first part of what United boss Ruben amorim hopes to be a big summer renovation.
The club is also associated with the moves for Brentford Bryan Mbeumo and Sporting CP Center-A-Padjadača Viktor Gyokores.
