Gautam Gambhir, More Morkel included in ‘Pitch Matters’ before eng tests, pull curator after an inner meeting

India’s main coach Gautam Gambhir held an internal strategy with a meeting with auxiliary staff before providing detailed instructions to the ground staff. Gambhir approached Josh Marden, curator in Kent, looking for parcels that replicate the conditions expected in five test matches.

After the meeting, Gambhir asked the curator of Ton Josh Marden to create a surface that replicates the conditions expected during the tour. Marden confirmed that he had received a detailed contribution of coaching staff.

“Yes, coaching staff, including Gautam Gambhir and others, talked to us after their inner meeting,” Marden told RevSportz.

“Their message was clear:” We want a good terrain. “Not something too straight, but something that will truly help prepare matches.

India is currently training on the surface adjusted to the blows, but curator Tona Josh Marden has said he still offers enough help for sailors. Practice positions used by both India and Australia in Kent have slightly more grasses compared to typical traces of white ball.

“Yes, and no. The soil here naturally plays closely, so visually, Wickket can look dry or straight. But we manage the density of grass, not only what you see, but also how thick it is,” Marden revealed.

“The plots currently using India and Australia have slightly more grass than our usual white ball surfaces. It is a subtle balance. Even with a brown surface, there is enough life in it, if you hit the right length,” he added.

India should start its campaign in the new ICC World Cup in the Championship with a test series in England. The senior squad of 18 members will play a four-day intra-quality match against India and in Beckenham, starting on June 13th.
