Tuchel admits that England is ‘frozen’ Senegal in shock defeat

Thomas Tuchel says his side in England felt “frozen” against Senegal after losing 3-1 on the city field in Nottingham.

Three lions rounded off their international break with a friendly against the African side, which recorded the first victory for the continent against them.

The early goal of Harry Kane was not enough to deny Senegal in Midlands, who hit twice in the second half in the damn Tuchel until his first defeat.

And he gave a dark assessment of the performance, admitting that it was not good enough on the field.

“The reaction was good after we fell. We were suddenly more active, free, more fluid, more aggressive. We had a great chance of equalizing.”

Jude Bellingham got off the bench late and thought he had grabbed the equalizer to achieve 2-2, only to exclude the goal for the offside.

At this point, Tuchel added, “I just saw it, it looks more shoulder than in my hand. I saw it as a goal to check, it’s the first time the judge revides the goal. So it is a mistake, so take it. Either that is not a mistake, so the goal is.”

The German boss was also criticized for taking off Harry Kane, but did not replace him with an attacker, despite the backlog.

Ivan Toney entered the last moments, but it was too small, too late at that moment.
