Promotor Eddie Hearn was not pleased that the referee did not let his fighter, Justis Huni (12-1, 7 ko), continued after on Saturday at Ipswich in Ipswich in Ipswich, Ipswich, English, he lowered the Count after dropping him in the tenth round in the tenth round.
The pre -stop stopped by Wardley from defeat to a better qualified Huni. It was a completely one -sided fight until the miracle stopped. The way the fight ended left a bad taste in the eyes of fans, who thought Huni got a raw job.
“Well, the referee did not even let him reach the 10th. He actually stopped him at nine, but Justis is slow to get up,” Promotor Eddie Hearn said in Media about the premature stop of Judge John Latham for his fighter Justis Hun in the tenth round.
I agree with Hearn. The judge, Latham, withdrew the plug in the fight against nine, and the competition was not to be stopped. It looked like he had already decided that Huni would not rise and then failed to adapt after he stood up surprisingly.
Because of this, Wardley looked like he was a good treatment because he was British. If the shoe was on the other foot, and Wardley beat the Count, struggling to stop too early, it wouldn’t be a big crowd.
This was a non-Brit, Huni, given the job. Wardley was in a terrible state, a nokaut miracle is needed. Unfortunately, the results are tightened with a black cloud of controversy, but that happens. Poor Huni.
“I thought Justis was so well flashed. He beat him in almost every round and beat him up. Fabio is playing so hard, so hard he never gives up. Unfortunately, Justis turned off and did what he didn’t need to do, which is a trade,” Hearn said.
Huni was sitting on great leadership and was not supposed to be at risk by shooting in 10th place in the right side. If he had continued to box Wadley on the outside, he would have cruised to a unilateral victory of the decision or knocked it out.
Wardley looked exhausted and beaten in that late phase of the fight. He was extremely desperately entering the tenth round. You could see him in his eyes and the way he fought more in that circle than he had in three previous ones.
“They (Team Wardley) will not want a rematch of Justis Huni. I mean, he (Fabio) lost almost every circle,” Hearn said. “But Justis will come back, and he will return to big struggles. There are big fights in Australia in Australia. There are big fights for him. His profile has gone through the roof roof tonight. Everyone knows that he is a heavy world class category.”
There is no way that Wardley’s promoters give Huni rematch. He will take this victory and run in the other direction, wanting to cause the winner of the fight Oleksandar Usyk against Daniel Dubois next month. They could also take over the secondary champion WBA Kubrat Puleva for a smaller belt. It’s a little belt.
With the way Wardley looked tonight, the 43-year-old Pulev would be the risky struggle he would take. I wouldn’t let Wardley go anywhere near Pulevo if I were his promoter because he was too limited, and this guy has a size and technical ability he can only dream of.
“Tonight he took the risk of a notification for four or five weeks, but it was a risk for a lot of money. It was a fight that we all believed would not be so unilaterally, but we thought it would be a pleasant victory,” Hearn said.
