The struggle of Abdullah Mason against Jeremiah Nakathila will be moved to a head on Saturday night to save the show at the Arena Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. Mason has an exciting fight style that makes him a perfect replacement for Keyshawn. Entering the fight, some fans saw him as worthy of his backrests over Keyshawn.
An invincible light candidate for #2 WBO, Mason (18-0, 16 ko) is from Ohija. It is not ideal to be the main event. However, the Keyshawn brothers, Kelvin and Keon Davis are still on the card and this will please the Norfolk crowd. Since the event on Saturday is shown on ESPN -UI ESPN+.
Keyshawn has taken a lot of criticism from fans for lack of weight. Many of them believe that he deliberately came to overweight to gain an advantage against the hard breakthrough of Southpaw de los Santos (16-2, 14 ko).
What he cheered was Davis to say that it was already intended to be his last fight at 135, and that he was moving until 140. Also, he did not have the physical appearance of a fighter who pushed to make weight.
“You should make weight. Why did you sign the contract for 135 and put the title on the line if you knew you would not make weight to start?” Tim Bradley said Fixresponding to Keyhawn Davis who fails to make weight today.
Davis never missed the weight before his short four -year professional career. In the last three struggles, he seemed to be getting bigger and looked necessary for the weight category.
“It’s very unprofessional. You should make that weight. If you crawl on all four on the ladder, then I say, ‘Damn, he tried to make weight, but that was too much for him. “But he didn’t crawl on the scale at all,” Bradley said about Keyshawn.
Keyshawn -Ove the size of worry
The difference in size between Keyshaww de los Santos was noticeable during the latest press conference on Thursday. You could say you were watching Keyshawn that he didn’t look like he didn’t start taking weight. On the contrary, De los Santos looked exhausted and scalp.
“He is 135 pounds and has been his entire (four -year) career. However, he was busy,” Bradley said about Keyshawn. “It’s not like he was sitting for two years. He went out of the camp to camp. So, he should have managed to make that weight or get closer to that weight.”
Considering that Davis had already planned to leave a slight division, there was no reason to break through the bell to go down to 135. If you look at it that way, it makes sense to miss weight. However, if it was intentional, he failed to understand that the fight could be canceled.
“Four pounds, it’s a shame, man. One pound, I can understand. I can understand some ounces and maybe even two pounds. But three pounds, four pounds and worse, no. It’s not professional at all, brother. It’s wrong and unfortunately. Shame, Keyhaw. “You put down the ball here,” Bradley said.
Missing 4.3 pounds makes Keyshawn look bad. Has the ego on his part led to not understand the reaction of the fans? It could be. He is like a daffodil, and his victories over soft opposition for which Top Rank is nourished, he seems to have gone to his head.
