Antonio Cordero believes that he is moving in “one of the best places in the world” to meet his sublime aspirations after signing for Newcastle United.
The Spanish wing player will join Newcastle in July when the contract with Segundy Side Malaga expires, provided that the Premier League registration process is completed.
Newcastle allegedly defeated Barcelona and Real Madrid for the signature of Spain under the age of 19.
Magpies plans to borrow a cordero after the end of the move, and Eredivisie Giants Ajax said it was a potential destination for a teenager.
Although his immediate future will not be spent in St. James, Cordero is convinced that moving to Newcastle is what will allow him to achieve his ambitions.
“It’s really an honor to be here, truly pleasure,” Cordero told Newcastle’s official website.
“I am a person who loves to strive high. Why not come to one of the best places in the world.
“It’s a big step, and that’s one of the reasons why I’m here. I’m happy to do it and have a great desire to go already.
“I am a very ambitious person and I do not have certain numbers, I just want to go for them and try to achieve the maximum.
“I want to win all possible trophies in the long run, but I am aware that hard work must be done to achieve this.”

Cordero scored a goal that secured the promotion of Malaga back to the second degree of Spain to the Play-off final against Gymnastic Tarragone at the end of the 2023-24 season, scoring in the 121st minute in the additional time of the second leg to get rid of the midfield.
And he impressed in Segunda because Malaga comfortably avoided relegation, scoring six goals and securing six assists.
Money leaving sports director Paul Mitchell said: “Antonio is an exciting talent. We are delighted to have brought him to Newcastle United in the midst of interest to Spain and across Europe.
“There is a lot of potential, and the next phase of its development will be for the club to choose a loan move that will cause it and upgrade to his experiences.”
