Manchester City chief Pep Guardiola insists that he is not a genius and is partly attributed to his glittering coaching career to simply be in the right place at the right time.
Guardiola was the most successful coach of his generation, winning the league titles in Spain, Germany and England, as well as the Champions League on three occasions.
He is also responsible for the revolution in the game with most of the teams across Europe, which now mimic their preferred game style.

The Catalan refused the claims that, however, gave him an elevated status.
In an interview with ReutersThe 54-year-old said, “Do you think I feel special because I have won a lot of titles? No! Forget about that!
“I feel it’s a special doctor who saves lives. People who invented penicillin. It’s a genius. Me? Genius? Come on.”
Guardiola critics point to the fact that he has always been blessed by the supervision of the already good teams.
His first job was in Barcelona, where he probably succeeded in the greatest player of all time in Lionel Messi, before taking his post at Bayern Munich, a dominant club in Germany.
He moved to the city in 2016 and built an empire on the back of the wealth of the club owner in Abu Dabi.
Guardiola accepts this argument to some extent and says his success could repeat other coaches that they had the same resources.
He added, “I don’t want to pretend to be humble: Of course I’m good! Proves that I’ve been good for many years …
“But the success I had, I was chosen. At certain moments, to lead Lionel Messi and others, to be in such places that I made amazing teams … But other managers, at the right moment, in that position, may have been the same.”
City’s Work of four consecutive Premier League title ended last season, and during that time Guardiola Cut a frustrated figure And he was seen with self -governing scratches on his head several times.
He was in the spotlight, whether as a player or a coach, the best part of 35, but insists that he will not have another way.
“Stress is always there because it judges you every day, but that’s what it is,” he said.
“No one put my gun in my head for forcing me to choose this job. I chose yes … There are no professionals in football all the time because it is simply impossible. So, it happened last season … You accept it, improve it, learn and will be a good learning for the future.”
