Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski believes Real Madrid will be “dangerous” next season under the new boss Xabi Alonso.
Lewandowski played with Alonsa at Bayern Munich and knew he would get from the player to the coach one day.
And following his progress in Bayer Leverkusen, Lewandowski believes that the Spaniard will transform the wealth of Madrid after the season without a trophy under the current Carl Ancelotti.
He said to Munda Deportivo: “I think Xabi Alonso, for all he has done in Real Madrid, is something that has no word, because he has repeatedly won the Champions League. But Xabi Alonso is at the beginning of his trip as a coach. He will bring fresh blood from the beginning, but it would not be about it.

Can Barca hold his Clasico dominance?
Madrid lost all four Clasicos with Barca last season, as Hansi Flick secured a double league and a Cup.
But Polish international Lewandowski says the dominance level could now be challenged.
He added: “As a player, I know Xabi very well. The two of us have always trained together. And I knew that Xabi would one day be a coach. At first, of course, in a more modest team. But after a few years, the coach is a great team in the world.
“I think Real Madrid is a good coach who can help this team. He may need a little time, but he is preparing for this club as a coach.”
Alons’s first task will be to lead Madrid at the World Cup club, which will start next week in the United States.

Barca is not included, but Lewandowski thinks that could ultimately be positive.
“I don’t think it will be good for our rivals because they will not have enough rest and then they will not have time for the preseason,” he said. “There is a moment throughout the season to break down, which is normal. And I think if we don’t have that moment falls and use it to win games and points, it can be very good.
“We have to be ready for this moment in which another team fails and win, I think it is a situation that can happen. And I’m sure we will physically prepare very well.”

Lewandowski is at the other end of his career, but is delighted with the influence of the young man.
He said, “I remember when Lamine first came to train with us. He was 15 years old. And until then I never saw such a player in my life, especially at that age, with the talent he has.
“He is a player who also has a very mature head (on the shoulders). He does not act like he is 17 years old. He also shows great maturity in tactics and things we talk about on the field.
“I think Lamine has a big talent and mentally think he’s been 23 or 24 years old. I think he has played at a very high level in the last three months. If you have a player like Lamina, who can do a lot of things with a ball, the team also becomes very dangerous in offensive aspect.
“If Lamine wants to work, not just one or two years, I am talking about five, six or seven years, he can play for a long time at the highest level and can win many titles.”
