Manchester City will return the challenge for the Premier League title next season – says former defender Richard Dunne.
Pepa Guardiola’s side had a bad campaign this time, finishing 13 points behind Liverpool champion and not winning the trophy for the first time from 2016-17.
But Dunne, who crossed over 350 appearances for City in 2009 before moving to Aston Villa, thinks he will return to Samite next time.
In an interview with William Hill He said, “Manchester City will be selected there for the Premier League next season.
“I actually think that Man City really went well at the end of the season with regard to their fall in shape. The club, Club, Pep Guardiola and players who finished in third place, was a good turnaround that would put in the right position to prepare for next season.
“Get ready, you’ll see.” 👀

“The last day of the Premier League season was a little strange to City, as it was available to the Champions League location, which added a little threat.
“It was not the same as a win or a fall from the league. It was a different pressure.”
The city still has to play the club World Cup.
They open their campaign in the United States on June 18 against the Moroccan side Wydad AC.
