Liverpool Wing player Ben doak target rival Everton

Everton explores the possibility of signing Liverpool young man Ben Doak this summer, in what would be a surprising transfer Merseyside, according to Sky Sports.

The 19-year-old Scotland International, who spent last season on loan in Middlesbrough, lit several Premier League clubs, including Ipswich Town and Crystal Palace, who both saw that Liverpool had rejected offers in January.

Doak enjoyed the promising campaign of 2024/25 in the championship, showing his dazzling pace and technical abilities.

His ability to take over the players in one situation impressed the Premier League clubs.

His performances in Middlesbrough were widespread, and the teenager showed maturity after his years.

Because Everton wants to reshape his attack under David Moyes this summer, Doak appeared as one of the best targets for Merseyside Club.

The player is with high potential, which is why manager Arne slot wants to carefully monitor him in the preseason.

The reds have not yet decided on the future of the players, but as things stand, it is very likely that he could give him the opportunity to prove himself at the club.

Nevertheless, competition for the places on Anfield is high and there is too much pressure to perform. Especially for a young player like doak, it would be difficult to enter the Liverpool line, and even if the club keeps it outside this summer, playing time will be very limited.

The quality that Liverpool has in wide positions, especially at the right place where the doak is comfortable, will keep it on the bench for the future.

It remains to be seen what the red decide about Doak and the next few weeks could decide on the future of a talented young man.

Scotland football legend Ally McCoist compared Doak’s fearless style to that of Jude Bellingham, stating:

“I will not compare him to Jude Bellingham, but in the sense that I will play with freedom.

“When Bellingham came to the scene as a young man, he was fearless and looked like he loved every minute – Ben Doak seemed to be in the same place.”

Together with Doak, goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is on the club’s exit This summer.
