The Asian Caucasian Council (ACC) officially delayed ACC on Monday (June 2nd) for ACC’s emerging women in Asia Cup 2025, who was supposed to start on June 6th in Sri Lanka. ACC made a decision after President Sri Lanka Crickket (SLC) Shammi Silva asked President ACC Mohsina Naqvi to delay the tournament for the inevitable situation.

In the letter, Shammi Silva mentioned two main concerns and they are ongoing bad weather on Sri Lanka and growing health risks due to the spread of Chikungunya disease in the region. In serious care of these concerns, they decided to delay the tournament to ensure the safety of players and staff.
