Chantelle Cameron is determined to present the case for her trilogy of fighting with Katie Taylor.
Cameron Boxes Jessica Camara on Taylor’s third fight with Amanda Serrano for an undeniable championship in a super lightweight category in New York on July 11th.
In 2023, the British Cameron won and then lost to Taylor, handing over the united world titles of £ 140 in the process.
With his efforts to secure his own fight against the Taylor trilogy, Cameron returned to win the temporary title of WBC. This is in line to challenge the WBC World Cup, one of the four Taylor and Serrano Fight for at Madison Square Garden.

“I’m one fight far from the winner,” Cameron said Sky Sports. “Or at least I’ll shoot at the world title.
“I’m just positive now that by the end of the year I’ll be a world champion.
“Definitely feels like a massive reset button for me,” she added. “I had my first loss and definitely fell apart on me. I felt like I was thrown into my face with a modest pie.
“Let’s go from the top to collapse, it’s not a nice place.
“I feel like I have to get my hands back to my belts and that’s my motivation. Because I still feel like they belong to me.”
Cameron was frustrated that he missed the third duel with the Irish star immediately after their rematch.
“It was quite personally because I obviously beat Katie in her yard. I returned to Dublin for a rematch. It was a close fight, she made a decision, the judge certainly did not help fight and outcome, and then I never got the opportunity to redeem,” she said.

“It’s huge. It’s 1-1. We don’t know who is a better fighter because it’s 1-1, we both won each other. We both took undefeated records, so we both have that personal rivalry now.
“Honestly hand to heart, I don’t think her team wants a trilogy with me,” Cameron suggested. “I agreed all the conditions, I accepted less money, I returned to Dublin.”
Cameron believes that with an attractive depiction of Camare, he can force his way to the showdown to be Taylor’s next opponent.

“I definitely have the most sense because – let’s be real – my belts were and I was unhappy that I lost them,” she said. “As soon as Katie won, she somehow fled them.
“She and Amanda led great struggles. And she was paid to her, and what she did for a boxer for women is incredible, deserves such salaries.”
But Cameron added, “The boxing that night as Katie and Amanda where I have to perform to show everyone that I am the best in the £ 140 division.”
