Luis Diaz confirms happiness to Liverpool in the middle of a conversation in Barcelona

Luis Diaz is a “really happy” in Liverpool in the midst of guessing about his future with the Premier League champions.

Diaz scored 17 goals and scored five assists in all competitions in 2024. The welcome, his best season since the 2022 joining of Porto.

Thirteen Diaz’s goals contributed to Liverpool who abolished the Premier League trophy because they secured a record 20th title of the English League.

Diaz has a contract with Liverpool by the end of the 2026-27 season, but is associated with departure.

Barcelona are fans of Colombia International, while the Saudi side of Al-Nassr is also responsible for his interest in his services.

But in an interview with the official website of Liverpool, Diaz made it clear that he was satisfied with his life at Anfield.

“I feel I’m going through a really good period,” Diaz said. “I’m really happy to be here, that I am part of this great institution, this great club and have great teammates around me.

“From the moment I arrived, I felt great pride. I always tried to work hard on it, and when I see that things work today, it fills me with pride and I’m really happy because I do it.

“(But) We are without our teammates. We are a team. Attackers and wingers are always trying to help with goals and assists, and I have just achieved good numbers to support it.

“It’s about playing and playing good playing, supporting the team in the way I play and enjoy it, as always.”

Liverpool won the title with a 5-1 victory over Tottenham in April.

Asked about his emotions that day, Diaz said, “I have remembered many things since I was a kid.

“I wanted to play for the big team, I dreamed of playing in the Premier League and playing for such an important club like Liverpool.

“And as I have gone through many difficult situations, to be here today and win the Premier League title means that you remember many things, and I am delighted for that.

“I don’t think many believed in us (at the beginning of the season). We showed what we were in the day, day, immediately since the beginning of the season.

“We started getting results and obviously moving forward. We learned to believe in what we had, in what the manager asked us from us and the team is full of quality, great players and that makes things easier.

“And then the results help, 100 percent. Then you have more motivation, you do more and that’s what I think happened.”
