Jesse Lingard for a number of reasons is well remembered by English football fans.

For many others, Lingard is best known not only for his flair outside the field – carrying bold clothing and performing strange dances on social networks – but also because of the celebration of the goals.

After scoring a hit, Lingard would raise his hands in front of him, shaping “J” and “L” – his initials – a celebration just as unique as iconic.

“When I was in Manchester United, we played West Brom. I was trying to practice that celebration,” he recalled. “First, I did different things. I turned J & L. So if I scored a goal today, I would make that celebration.”

“That’s how I achieved and did that,” he added. “Many people didn’t know what was going on. In the end, I explained what that meant. It’s my later ego, J-Linz. It’s my job, Guy.”

The celebration was not the only thing Lingard talked about during his conversation – he also talked about his striking new appearance.

Former England International adopted a Korean -style hairstyle, which surprised many fans and launched some light jokes online.

“Every time I get a hairstyle, I like to brush. I have to look fresh,” Lingard said. “Most of our games are on television, so I like to look fresh. I probably get a hairstyle once a week. Very popular in England, this hairstyle.”

Different country, a new style but remains the same J-Lingz Spirit.
