Arsenal is advised that this summer they should be on a potential move for Brentford Bryan Mbeumo’s star.
Writing in his exclusive Grasp column, Stan Collymore made it clear that he felt mbeumo It was too good to think about joining Manchester United.
Mbeumum had just had a top season with Brentford, showing that he was one of the best offensive players in the Premier League.
The Cameroon International ended the 2024/25 campaign with 23 goals and eight assists in all competitions for the club and the country.
Talking about Mbeumo’s situation this summer, Collymore said: “Given the season he just had, he earned the right to play European football in 2025-26. In most cases, going from Brentford in Man United is a big step but with mbeumcan do much better.
“He was associated with Newcastle, but for me I also think Aston Villa would be really good.
“Arsenal should also be everywhere over it, because it would be a sensational addition to their attack.”
Mbeumumo has impressive numbers, but it is not so clear as a whole if it would be sufficient to upgrade what Arsenal already has if you look at the graphics below …
Mbeumumo has some areas that are a little better than Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, but others where they seem to offer less.
And you would imagine these are the players to compete with, because there is certainly no pushing of Bukayo Saka from the beginning of Mikel Arte.
