Richardson Hitchins said today at the social media that he wants to fight Devin Haney in Saudi Arabia if he no longer fights Teofima Lopez. Hitchins (19-0, 7 Kos) must first draw his cover defense of his IBF Light Welterweight title from the road against George Cambosos Jr. June 14.

“If Teo no longer fights Haney after I am F *** Cambozo up, I’ll fight against Haney in Saudi. Hit my F **** line,” said Richardson Hitchins on Xcalling Devin Haney.
It is questionable whether the fight between Haney and Hitchins will be a market event. Despite holding the title of IBF, Hitchins is not known enough to the occasional boxing fans for the fight between him and Haney for sale on PPV. Haney is likely to refuse to fight Hichins, looking at her as a highly risky match with low prizes.
The only way that would make sense is when Turki Alalshikh was willing to finance the fight. It would be an interesting struggle to deal with Alcatraz, but definitely not a headliner.
Hitchins goes in front of him because he still has to beat Cambosos. After that, Richardson had his IBF mandatory fight, which is a consequence of Sutriel Matias. If Hitchins cannot pay Matias a step aside, he will have to defend himself next. He has avoided Matias for centuries, and now he can no longer do so because he is obliged to him.
Haney (32-0, 15 ko) hoped to fight Lopez next 16 August, but that conflict was in danger after Teofimo was “fired” by Turki Alalshikh yesterday. It was believed to fund a fight.
Yesterday Devin posted on Xsaying, “I will deal with him (Theophimo)” and marked Turks Alalshikh. This struggle is unlikely to happen with Theophim’s insults Alalshikh on social media. Today’s trolling Lopez Turks took the cake, and he made gay jokes. That post may have buried the Bridge for Teofimo with Turks permanently.
