Newcastle plans to sign a new center this summer, and their leading goal is Marc Guehi Crystal Palace. They desperately tried to sign an English international last summer, but after four offers were rejected, they eventually moved away from the negotiating table.

“Newcastle’s interest in Guehi remains – he never disappeared. Eddie Howe wanted him last summer and he wants him now. Last year they couldn’t agree on the terms in the agreement, and this summer it would not be easier – Palace chief Steve Parish will not release him to compensation.
“He is very calm – yes, he is open to leave, but he knows there is a chance to stay until next summer when his contract expires – that could be played.”
Guehi sees his crystal palace contract expires in 2026, which means he will remain a year during the summer passage of the transmission. This would suggest that Newcastle would be easier to sign it – especially at a much lower price – but it doesn’t seem to be the case. And with the winners of the FA Cup playing in Europe next season, there is a space for a 24-year-old who remains.
