Chairman Manchester City Mubarak Adamant will return to the best 2025-26

Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak vowed to return to the best after a 2024-25 trophy campaign next season.

City struggled to fulfill his usual standards of this season, finishing 13 points behind the angry champions of the Liverpool Premier League, and at the same time lost in the playoffs of the league renewed champion.

Men Pepa Guardiola went out to the EFL Cup in the fourth round and amazingly lost the FA Cup finals in Crystal Palace. The City has done at least a safe football football football football for next season, but their place has not been confirmed until the last day of the season with a 2-0 win in Fulham.

But Mubarak is not in the mood to focus on failures of this season, insisting that the club is now only progressing on the challenges of 2025-26. And build a team to ensure that they can fight again for big trophies.

“We’ll come back,” Mubarak said. “This season is a season that is now behind us. Today is a new day. We are starting to work and prepare for next season.

“And by the way, we have been doing it since January. We’ll take all the good things, not so good things from this season and learn from it and improve yourself from it and improve.

“And I assure you, this club will do everything that is possible to return to the standards we know we can all achieve and we know, we will achieve.

“Because really, if there is one thing I would like now, it is to turn that page from last season and just start focusing on next season.

“Everyone I saw after the Fulham’s game, all players, are excited, are excited to have come back.

“No one feels good how we end the season. They want to come back and want to go back hungry. And I see hunger.

“And these players, they want to go back to the preseason. These players are usually excluded and start thinking about the rest time. Honestly, every player I spoke with told me, you know, we’re coming back. We’re ready to come back in three weeks.

“I spoke with Rodrod as an example, he is looking for games. Erling (Haaland) did not want to go on vacation. He wanted to stay with physios and prepare for next season. And that’s the attitude you want. And that’s why you see me so positive.

“We’ll come back strongly, with a lot of positivity.”

City will return to action next month in an extended 32-team club club.

Guardiola men are attracted to the G group G, along with Juventus, Wydad Casablanca and Al Ain.
