Tiger Woods has to make room on his trophy shelf for son Charlie.
The 16-year-old ended on Wednesday with three rounds of 15-SPOD 201 at Team Taylormade Invitational to win in his first American Junior Golf Association event at the Black Stream Resort course.
Woods started the day equalized at nine below 135 and ended with the last round of six under 66 at the top of the 71 players, which included four of the top five ranked AJGA players.
Woods’s last round had eight birds and two noise, and closed with four flat pair.
He won the event of three shots in front of a three -way relationship between the fifth player Luke Colton, Willie Gordon and Phillip Dunham.
Woods opened the tournament with the first score of 70, and Tuesday followed with 65. He competed in his fifth Ajga event, with the previous best ending for 25th place at the Junior Invitional in Sage Valley in March.
Woods has already counted a few victories in his CV, and the first to arrive in the 14-15 year category at the Golf Tour Championship Championship in Junior Golf in June 2023.
Later that year, he won the regional golf tournament in the last chance. Last summer, he qualified for a competition in the US amateur amateur, but failed to make a cut.
