Real Madrid may not have had a 2024/25 campaign they hoped for – he fell in La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup, who all went to the fierce Barcelona rivals – but for Kylian Mbappe, it was a debut season in the Santiago Bernabeu.
After a slow start, Real MadridThe star striker found his rhythm and finished the season with stunning 42 goals in all competitions. That not only broke Iván tedious, longtime record For most goals in the debut season for the club, but he also earned Mbappe his first European gold shoe.
With the season that is now behind, the 26-year-old has separated some of his wrapped free time and recently returned to the famous environment: Monaco, where he watched the Grand Prix Monaco.
The day after the race, Mbappe was noticed that he was hanging out with F1 Land Norris driver, who won the Grand Prix, as well as the NBA star Jimmy Butler, posing for the photos with both.
Butler is one of several NBA stars – with similar LeBron James – who is known passionately in football. In fact, the Golden State Warriors star is also a big fan of Mbappe himself.
Back in January 2021, Butler appeared on GQ Sports “Actually Me”, where he refused online questions online to answer the questions of fans on social networks. Responding to a tweet in which he shared photos of himself playing football, one fan asked: “Which club would you like to play for?”
Butler replied: “I should definitely say PSG. I think that if I am with Mbappe (and) the biggest one who has ever done it in Neymar younger, I feel like it will look like I really know what I’m doing on the field. “
“It would be a battle. I mean, I and Neymar go to our head according to who will wear 10. I don’t know. But PSG! So I’m going,” he joked.
Fast forward to this last weekend on the Grand Prix Monaco, and Butler was finally face to face with a man he once dreamed of playing together-full circle for one of Mbappe’s biggest fans in the NBA.
