Chelsea back ‘where it must be’ according to the chief of Enzo Maresca

Chelsea’s main coach Enzo Maresca couldn’t hide a smile after led Blues in the Champions League for the first time in two years.

The double winners of the competition finished fourth in the Premier League after defeating Nottingham Forest on the last day.

Newcastle and Aston Villa, both descents, meant that the London club jumped behind Manchester City and would join them with Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham in the elite competition in next season.

Speaking after the game, Maresca was full of praise for her team, saying, “They grow a lot as a team and a player and showed how good they are today.

“I hope we brought this club where it has to be. We finished sixth last year and forget it most of the time.

“The only thing I knew was when Man United scored his second. They told me 2-0. We didn’t need the rest to drop the points, we won.”

After recovering from more injuries problems, he could hide his enthusiasm in the celebrations after the match with the boss, but insisted that another game still was coming.
