In the Pulsi Pulsi Championship Play-off at Wembley, Sunderland incorporated a dramatic 2-1 victory over Sheffield United thanks to the stunning strike of the Star of Academy Tom Watson.
Black cats secured the return of the Premier League after eight years with a remote performance that grew to the end of the game in the capital.
Sheffield United, who ended up 14 points in front of Sunderland in a regular part of the season, went through the early advantage.
In the 25th minute, they broke through Tyrese Campbell, which Gustavo Hamer set excellently.
Hamer broke into a counter -attack, pushing Campbell behind the defense with a missed inch. The attacker kept the calm of Anthony Patterson’s chip and sent fans Blades to Raptura.
In the first half, he was mostly dominated by Tim Chris Wilder, who created a series of chances. Moore had his head stuck from the line in the initial minutes, while Burrols thought he had doubled the lead with a strong strike that Var rejected for Obstruks.

Sunderland struggled to find a rhythm early, especially after losing Captain Luke O’Nien for injury within the introductory minutes.
However, black cats started to find their feet in the second half. Deputy Patrick Roberts immediately influenced, pulled inside to find Eliezer Mayena with a precise ball in the 76th minute.
Mayena, who was in top shape this season, did not make a mistake, hugging her shot into the upper corner to bring the sunderland level.
The last stages of the match were a frenetic thing. Sheffield United encouraged the winner, but Sunderland became more dangerous on vacation. A series of replacements, including the introduction of Tom Watson, proved to be a difference.
While the clock was ticking in a hundred minutes – extended by injuries and a long check – Watson seized his moment.
Moore lost his possession halfway, and Watson drove forward, weaving his way to the edge of the box. In addition to the steel nerves, the 18-year-old twisted a low shot beyond the desperate diving of Michael Cooper and in the corner of the lower right corner, igniting Pandemonium among the Sunderland believers.

Watson’s celebrations were as passionate as his goal – to cut off his shirt and earn a yellow card in the process, but no one in White would worry. It was the perfect sending of a young man, who was set for a summer transfer to Brighton.
Sheffield United did not have time to answer because the last whistle followed soon after Watson’s heroes. For the blades, the heart continues at Wembley, expanding their awful record in the Play-off finals.
For Sunderland, it denotes a triumphant return to the upper flight and a fairy tale that ended up at their promotional pressure.
