Real Madrid took away his La Liga season with a 2-0 win over Real Sociedad in Santiago Bernabeu, in a game that doubled as emotional farewell for club legend Luka Modric and Carla Ancelotti.
Kylian Mbappe was the star of the show, twice sealed a victory in a match dominated by the hosts.
Madrid enjoyed the lion part of the possession early, and Guler and Valverde orchestrated an abundance of attacks through the middle of the field. Mbappe had several half that Remiro refused, while Sociedad’s best opening came when Sergio Gomez played, only that Lunin had pulled a fine salvation.
The breakthrough arrived in the 38th minute when Var Madrid awarded the penalty after Marin handball.
The initial effort of Mbappe was saved by Una Marrero, but the Frenchman reacted the fastest to push home, giving Madrid a well-deserved lead of 1-0 at halftime.
Sociedad made a replacement storm to try to find a way back, but Madrid continued their possession control. The Ancelotti men were patient, and Valverde and Guler continue to examine the openings. Diaz was injured and replaced by Vinicius Junior, who immediately added more dynamics to the Madrid left flank.

He scored the second goal in the 83rd minute, and Vinicius and Mbappe combined. Vinicius was driving in the defense of Sociedad before he inserted a perfectly weighted ball into Mbappe’s path. The Frenchman ended up at the closer post, effectively killing the game.
Behind the results, it was an emotional night for the Bernabeu believers. Lucas Vazquez and Luka Modric received a standing ovation because they were replaced in the last minutes.
Modric, in particular, serenaded the crowd and both honors gave him an honorary guard, which marked the end of the era for one of the largest club midfielders.
It was also the last game of Accelotti before taking over the job in Brazil, and the legendary main coach also received his special farewell after providing an abundance of memory over two spells in Spain.
