Toney appointed Tuchel’s team to face Andor and Senegal

English manager Thomas Tuchel recalled the attacker Ivan Toney for his team for the June Games against Andore and Senegal.

Toney, 29, left Brentford last summer to join the Saudi side of Al-Ahli and scored 22 goals in 29 games.

“We followed him carefully, like all players on our list,” Tuchel said.

“He played a lot with huge contributions and determined goals, won the Asian Champions League. We want to see his personality in the group and his quality.”

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham is included despite his shoulder problem, while the Newcastle wing player Jacob Murphy did not make a cut.

Dan Burn and Jordan Henderson, a sudden call in March, are still, while the chelsea defender of Trevo Chalobah has the first call.

Tuchel’s three lions are confronted with Andor in the World Cup qualifier on June 7th and play Senegal in a friendly on the Nottingham Forest city ground three days later.
