Real Madrid President Florentino Perez welcomed Carla Ancelotti as the “forever part of the Madrid family” after the club finally acknowledged Italian departure.
Ancelotti will take over Madrid’s duty tomorrow as his side host Real Sociedad in Santiago Bernabeu.
He promises to be an emotional opportunity for fans to get the opportunity to say goodbye to Ancelotti and midfielder Luka Modric.
🤍 Thanks.#Graciascarlo

Perez said: “Carlo Ancelotti will forever be part of the Great Madrid family. We feel incredibly honored to have the opportunity to enjoy a coach who helped us to achieve so much success, but who also embodied the values of our club in such a role model.”
Ancelotti enjoyed two spells in charge of Madrid, a leading club up to 15 trophies, including three Champions League titles and two La Liga Crowns.
This season, however, was a great disappointment.
Madrid lost all four Clasicos with Barcelona, including one in the Copa Del Rey final, and finished second to his big rivals in La Liga.
The defense of their Champions League Crown ended with Arsenal in the quarterfinal phase.
Ancelotti has already confirmed that he will leave Madrid at the end of the season – even before the club’s World Cup. He will take over as the coach of the Brazil national team for their international in June and take Selecao to the World Cup finals in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
