Pep Guardiola wants to help fight with midfielder Phil Foden, but insisted that he did not ask England’s head Thomas Tuchel to leave him from the team for the June International.
Foden was not included in The Tuchel Group appointed games with Andor and Senegal this morning with a Manchester City midfielder who struggles with ankle injury and off -field problems.
Guardiola says there was no cooperation with German about his decision. He said, “The truth is that for a long time he struggled with his ankles, but I didn’t talk to Thomas. What happens to the international team, he descends to Thomas Tuchel.”
Foden won the PFA player award last year after scoring 19 league goals while City won the title. This year, however, was completely different, because the 24-year-old man only managed 10 at all competitions with a city that endured a poor campaign that should end without a trophy.
And Guardiola eagerly helped Foden back her career to the right path.
“We want to help him and that’s the most important thing,” he added. “He needs a vacation and then he’ll come back. I want to help him. I don’t care about his performance, I just want him to feel good because then the rest will come in an easy way.”

The Key midfielder Rodri achieved his long-awaited return in the middle of the week in a victory over Bournemouth, but after being aside for eight months due to a ruptured ACL, Guardiola does not expect to return to everything soon.
“We are really pleased to be back, really pleased with the reaction of our people to him, I’m pretty sure he’s so pleased with a team,” he said. “There is still a long way to be a rod as it was.
“After surgery, you always have to be careful or you can have muscle problems.
“It’s a (positive) step for his mind and knee, but we won’t see Rodri yet we know him.”
City heads to Fulham on Sunday, which is needed to be sure to play in the Champions League next season.
European hopes of cottage are over, but Guardiola remains cautious by Marc Silva.
He said, “It is better to arrive in the last game knowing it depends on you.
“We need one point to go to the Champions League next season, but we have to win against the upper side.
Mateo Kovacic was suspended while John Stones remains aside due to injury.
