Chelsea is on the market of a new striker this summer, and one of their leading targets is Brighton’s Joao Pedro. The 23-year-old scored 30 goals during his two seasons at the seagulls, and could take the next career step during the upcoming transmission window.
After being dissatisfied with Nicolas Jackson’s appearances for several years, Chelsea is ready to make his move for a new number nine. They are strongly associated with Ipswich’s Liam Delap, but now Pedro has been collected as a strong candidate who has become the latest Brighton player who has embarked on Stamford Bridge.
As he reported Daily post officeChelsea explores the Summer Agreement for Pedro, which also has attracted occupation like Liverpool, Newcastle and Aston villas. They are willing to submit an offer of £ 50m in Brighton, and if that is not enough, there is also the possibility that the players go in the other direction as part of a possible agreement.
Pedro established himself as a quality striker in the last few seasons in Brighton, although his goal has inflated significantly with criminal incentives – to which he would not be in Chelsea for the presence of Cole Palmer. As such, they could be a suspect of a supporter regarding the possibility that he was their new initial number nine.
However, Pedro should be an upgrade on Jackson, and his arrival would still allow another striker to be brought because it can be played on the left wing – which is another position that Chelsea wants to strengthen. For now, it remains to be seen whether the offer will be sent to Brighton, and also whether it will be sufficient for an agreement that could happen.
