Flick expands the contract with La Liga champions

Barcelona chief coach Hansi Flick signed an extension of the contract after led by the Catalan Club at domestic tower in his first season.

The new contract will last until 2027 and comes after the first year in charge of the trophy in charge of a 60-year-old German.

Barca claimed the title of Laliga earlier this month after raising Copa del Rey and Spain Supercopa, beating the fierce Rival of Real Madrid in both finals.

They also reached the Champions League semi -finals, ultimately they fell into Inter Milan after an exciting two -legged tie.

Flick was initially appointed a two -year contract in May 2024, but a new job will see him for 12 months.

In a statement, Barcelona invited Flick for returning “excitement” to the club and once again made them force in Europe.

“Hansi Flick made the Barca fans happy in his first season for a number of reasons: from the belief he gave the team, for epic return and for trophies,” the statement said.

“The excitement the German brought to the club in his first year, made FC Barcelona a terrible rival in Europe.

“Hansi Flick creates history in FC Barcelona and we will surely continue this in the coming seasons.”
