In a proud and emotional moment for Indian cricket, Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) respected Rohit Sharma dedicating the position on his behalf on Wankhede Stadium. Honor to recognize Rohit’s enormous contribution to Mumbai and the Indian cristen over the years. In his message, David mixed humor with admiration, as he playfully suggested that Rohit had hit so sixty at Wankhede that the authorities had no choice but to name a position after him. He then praised Rohit’s journey, noting that, although every cricket dreams of playing in iconic places like Wankhede and performs well – which Rohit consistently did – very little imagining a position called in their honor. Dravid described the gesture as a convenient recognition of Rohit’s huge contribution and Mumbai and the Indian cryrake.

I’m sure the young man entered the iconic stadium of Wankhede, truly one of the big stadiums in the world. I would sure that you came to have dreamed that you did it. Dravid wished Rohita a wonderful day celebrating this special moment with his loved ones. Adding the touch of lightness, Dravid was looking forward to the testimony of many other Rohit trademarks of the sixty, who retreated to the only position that now bears his name. He also joked that whenever he needed tickets for matches in Wankhede, now he knows exactly who to contact – Rohit himself.
