Pep Guardiola insists that FA Cup is “massively important” for Manchester City because they look to end up a disappointing high -level season.
City started a campaign with great hopes that he won the fifth consecutive Premier League title and another running deep in the Champions League.
Real Madrid has completed his European playoff adventure, while they are still not sure that they will qualify for a European top club next season.
FA Cup, therefore, accepted the extra importance, and Guardiola quickly played a narrative that tomorrow’s final means more to the Crystal Palace opponents, who have never won a big trophy.
He said, “Of course we want it. Once we are here, of course we want a trophy. That is massively important.”
PEP 💬 We want to win for our fans. The guys who travel, I want to thank you for coming to London. The victory is much better than the loss, but last year we entered it after winning four in a row and maybe our mind was not perfect. But a year later, we are there again. pic.twitter.com/fjjqeo09jc

The victory, however, will be far from direct, with Palace A Club in the rise under Oliver Glasner.
“It’s a fantastic team,” Guardiola added. “They had a really good part of the season. They had more than a year old, and Oliver (Glasner) worked with the same players.
“It’s a FA Cup final, it’s honored and a privilege. We are there for the third time in a row and we have to perform well. We travel to London to win the title.”
City will hope to perform better than 12 months ago when they were surprisingly fell 2-1 to Manchester United.
Guardiola said, “Victory is much better than loss. But you learn from loss. Last season it was special because three or four days before we won the Premier League for the fourth time in a row, so maybe our mindset was not perfect.
“The team did not have a bad game, some decisions opposed us. We lost it, it happened in the finals. It was important that we were there and again a year later, we are there again.”
Guardiola said he would use the same team as one who fought Draw 0-0 on already packed Southampton last weekend But did he discover in 2024, the winner of the Ballon D’Or Rodroda was “much, much better”.
Spanish internationals are unlikely to play at Wembley, but is closer to the fitness that has been out since September.
