Bologna has abolished Coppa Italia only for the third time in the history of the Club, their first Cup triumph since 1974-a 1-0 victory over Milan to Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday.

Date with fate for Bologna in Rome
Two sides faced in the league just five days ago, and Milan won 3-1. However, three decades have passed since their last meeting in this competition.
But the intention of both sides seemed visible from off because the game started in an electric way.

From the jump, the ball fell to Ndoye, who grabbed the winner when the sides met in February, and Swiss International remained cold to break through his man and shoot past Maignan.
This caused cheerful scenes among Bologna fans in the stands, who knew their side were just over 35 minutes away from the creation of history.
